Dedication Mr. John .I. Benninger Directs Annual Art Staff. Bryna Tamarkin, June Summers, Dolores Tocco, Jack Bursack, Harold Drayton, Reginald Euisey, Aaron Duval, Tom Citizen and Mr. John Benninger. DEDICATION In appreciation of the patience and time sacrificed on the senior yearbook each year by Mr. John J. Benninger in directing the work of the Annual Art Staff, we the Class of 1958 dedicate this annual to Mr. Benninger. Through his constant and efficient co-operation with the Editorial Board, the theme of the Annual is carried out harmoniously between the art and editorial staffs. We are especially grateful to Mr. Benninger for his guidance of the 1958 staff whose task it was to create the art herein related to the theme, The launching of Rayen satellites into the outer sphere of life. ln addition, the 1958 senior class wishes to express its appreciation of the time and effort that Mr. Benninger is sacrificing in painting the 1958 Class Memorial. This historical mural of The Rayen School has been designed and is now being painted by Mr. Benninger on the auditorium corridor walls. Money for the canvas and paints was furnished by the present senior class. Miss Brown Retires ln June 1957 one faculty member retired, namely, Miss Ella Moore Brown, who devoted 35 years to teaching at The Rayen School. After teaching in Monticello, N. Y. and several other places, Miss Brown came here to teach Latin, German and more recently, Spanish. She was one of the few local teachers with a doctorate from Middlebury, Vermont. Two New Arrivals Mr. Nicholas Cipollone is the new Spanish teacher who replaces Miss Brown, retired. This Rayen alumnus is a graduate of Youngstown University who earned his master's degree from Westminster College. Formerly, he taught in Warren. MR. NICHOLAS CIPOLLONE Spanish Miss Ida Berger, the new school nurse, divides her time among three schools, The Rayen School, Harding and Hayes Junior High.
