SCHOOL Memories Were Made Here W. B. Ray High School, named after William Benton Ray, cele- brated its 27th year of exis- tence this year. It is unique in that each of its three floors is traditionally associated with seniors flstj, juniors f2ndJ, and sophomores f3rdJ. The en- rollment varies, but in 1978, our T shape building acco- modated approximately 2100 students. The gym, which hosts all local high school bas- ketball games, is the largest in the city. Other outstanding fea- tures include the spacious li- brary, band hall, shop build- ings, and the new portables outside. a gg wwf'
