Boys' State Mike Grubb, RonWaekerlin, Jack Argyle The American Legion and the American Legion Auxiliary chose five girls and three boys to attend Wonderful Wyoming Girls' State and Boys' State. These students were selected on their character, leadership, scholarship, and service. The students learned government procedures in mock session. Girls' State was held in Laramie on the University of Wyoming campus. Boys' State was held in Douglas.
