The Speech group, under the direction of the sponsor, Miss Johnston, formed the speech choir which performed at several activities, including one assembly at the high school. This new concept in the field of speech work was excellent, and congratulations are in order to the members. Each year the members attend speech events throughout the state, one of which was the state speech meet.
