i nations ! Four long, long, years ago a timid and shy Freshmen Class crept into the halls of Rawlins High School. We were proud and ambitious but the upper classmen couldn't understand this—neither could the teachers for that matter. We soon proved to them that we weren't quite as small and insignificant as they thought, when our first big dance the “Sophomore Return was a success. After getting into the groove we gave our share of parties, dances, and assemblies. In the Outlaw Day parades our floats were so outstanding that in our Junior year we placed first. Running second to our social standing was our high scholastic standing, for we boasted such great brains as LeRoy Merring, Bob Wilkerson, Mary Ruth King, and Dawn Sheahan. Of course some of us weren't too intelligent but let’s not give names. Last year we became Juniors or members of the upperclassmen. We gave the Junior Play in which some members of the class showed great acting abilities---just ask Miss Phillips. Our biggest event of the year was the Junior Prom. Since we were so outstanding socially we held it in the Flame room, with the “Fairyland Ball as our theme. The biggest event of the evening was the crowning of the queen, Frances Williams, and her attendants, Joy Hunt and Jean Hay. At last we have become Seniors. During the years we have lost many of our classmates but the bulk of us are still here and waiting to graduate. Our big events for this year are the Senior Play and our class assembly during which some of us will display our talents to the high school for the last time. We have done our best in whatever we were doing and we leave it to posterity to judge whether or not we have been a credit to Rawlins High School. Congratulations to the Class of 52 CITY OF SINCLAIR
