Now as Seniors we are proud of our wonderfuleduca- tion in Rawlins High School. Our Freshman and Sophomore years were high-lighted by the Freshman Reception and the Sophomore Re- turn. During the Junior they staged the play, Our Town' and the Junior-Senior Banquet, both of which were tremendous successes. Our Senior year was a memorable one, climaxed by Senior-week activities, including Baccalaureate and Commencement. Thus our four years in Rawlins High School ended with a tone of sadness but with a proper feeling of pride. E Preside enior ZCQPJ nt. . . . . . The Sophomore year, they gave the Freshman Re- ception. Each year the class as they became older participated in the activities of Outlaw Day by contributing a float. This year they walked away with the prize-winning float of the parade. This year was a busy year, climaxing with the Junior Play, We Shook the Family Tree. The most awaited event of the year, the Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom ended three years in high school and they now are looking forward to becoming Seniors of 1950. 18, ai aka? -' zjvfj 337 . H. S. After a time, they became known as Freshmen. With Don Ryan, Wanda McCullouth, Norma McCann, and Jack Nealon to lead them, they became a very active class, cli- maxing their first year with a dance The Winter Whirl. Their Sophomore year started out with a bang as the Cotton Ball was presented in Novem- ber. The second big activity of the year was the Sophomore float, entered in the Outlaw Day Parade. Though they were still too young to do this and too old to do that, they contributeda few he-men to the football, basketball, and track teams, and several brains to the R. H. S. Honor Roll. Now with faces turned toward the future, and with minds full of big plans, they await their next year as Upperclassmen. 26 UPHUM , 52,0 ,,m.,,.e Q Chuck Walbye. . . . . Z8 We, a class of eighty- seven, shyly entered high school last September. The Sophomores welcomed us at the Cotton Ball, after which we settled down to do our best! We have members represented in Tri-T, Band, Girls Glee Club, Boys Glee Club: Mixed Chorus, Pep Club, Debate, Speech and R Club. Through the enthusiasm of severalFreshman girls, the first modern dance club, to exist in Rawlins High School was formed. We have one girl representing ,us among the cheerleaders. The Freshmen have several outstanding members on the football, basketball, track, and wrestling team, As a Whole, we Freshmen haven't had many activities, but we are proud of our achievements. These activities consisted of building the Freshman float for Outlaw Day and giving the Sophomores a ball. We have begun our four wonderful and exciting years of high school enthusiastically and will continue to do SO. Z9 , Eh . Qre5Aman O icerd Gary Eyre . . . . .
