Prophecy Three witches are bent over a large kettle. They stir the brew from time to time. First Witch: Where hast thou been sister? Second Witch: Stealing aluminum. Third Witch: Sister, where, thou? Second Witch: A trip to Ravenswood made I, where my broom got caught on an Aluminum roof. As I fell to earth, I peered into a window and saw two damsals in a bedroom hopelessly toiling over the future of their class- ngates. They appeared so blank that I decided to hurry home so we could stir up a brew and help them look into t e uture. First Witch: A drum? A drum! I hear a drum. I see a band -- a Salvation Army Band. And who's got control of the crashing symbols. It's none other than Jane Clang Bailes. Second Witch: My goodness! What was the terrible sound. It's just Driscoll Hot Lips Belland his Dixieland Five practicing up to challenge Gabriel and his Holy Six , Third Witch: I see a lady of 28 head principal of the Silverton Reform School for girls. We always knew Betty Straight A's Bennett would be passing her knowledge along to the leaders of tomorrow. First Witch: Sisters look! Who is that fair young thing laying gas lines in the hot sun while her husband stays home and baby sits. Why it's none other than Bev, Leaky Pipe, Blake. Second Witch: Hail MacBeth! Whats that awful smell. Oh! Its Billie Boggs demonstrating the new drug to exterminate all the little, Roaches, running around. Tlhird Witch: Look sister, there's Don Bonar, Esquire, on the front of TIME magazine as champion hog caller of t e year. First Witch: Lets take a look in that hospital window over there. Its Mary, Woody, Brotherton and her lumber- jack husband the proud parents of a brand new baby splinter. Second Witchzlsee Patsy, Proxy, Brown in her 5th Avenue Beauty Saloon. She's busy bleaching Mrs. Van Snobbs hair but she must have goofed because its all laying in the sink. Third Witch: That town over there surely has careful drivers. No wonder. There's Richard, Copper, Brown di- recting traffic thru Mr. Alto. First Witch: There's Eunice, Hopeful, Carothers. She's still collecting attendance Slips, but now its in an old- age home for men. Second Witch: Heavens! There's Buzz, Speedy, Casto now using his Chevy to pull coal. We always knew he'd end up that way if he didn't slow down. Third Witch: There's an explosion. Its Carol Jean, Asbestos, Cavender hunting for unbreakable glass for her glasses . First Witch: Dig that crazy headline in the paper. It was written by Dennis, Caps, Click. He never could please Mrs. Evans. Second Witch: I see Mrs. Hutchinson turning over in her grave. Someone must have said git and not get. You might know its Roy, Grammar, Click. Third Witch: Here comes Gen. Janice, Gunbarrel, Cox leading an army. Cox's Army. First Witch: There's Don, Crutchy, Critchfield president of a factory that makes crutches for disabled pottery. Second Witch: Delores, Viteruso, Dickerson still playing WA RSAW CONCERTO while Mr. Porter listens in his rocking chair. Third Witch: Ouch! Ouch! Stop that! Dr. Sue, Plyers, Divers pulling a patients tooth. She must have slipped because out comes his tonsils. First Witch: There is Annabelle, Goffy, Duncan walking down the aisle ofthe Baptist Church. Wonder if she pulled another boo-boo! Second Witch: Hail Caesar! Emma, Slim Fingers, Farmer is milking a cow for her husband Eugene, Mooy, McClure who is now president of a milk-bone factory. It is Danny, Hammar Head, Haught, he always was the energetic type. Second Witch: I see a large building. It is a convent.
