D i etitian SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ALTAR Gl'ILD NANCY LEE IVILLIAMSON The Altar Guild is composed of all members of the seventh, sixth and fifth grades. The Guild has charge of the altar in groups of two. Service on the Altar Guild is accepted by the children as an honor, and a duty to be per- formed reverently and faithfully. MUSIC BENET GODFREY ASBILL AND BETTY ASBILL Ravenscroft offers unusual advantages in music. Classroom instruction in singing. appreciation. glee club. choir. and an opportunity to participate in musical programs are offered to all students without extra charge. AMERICAN JUNIOR RED CROSS DIARY--IAYNE HL'TCHINS BIANN, Teacher-Sponsor The American Junior Red Cross of the school has contributed to all projects and it has a 10072 enrollment. RELIGIOUS EDUCATION The aim of this Department is to help 'bring children closer to God in their worship and to build Christ-like characters. At Ravenscroft School two periods weekly are devoted to religious instruction. The curriculum is very flexible. bending to the questions and needs of the class. In general, there are drills in Church manners and reverence. The service used in daily Chapel exercises is explained, parts of it memorized, and appropriate hymns learned.
