llxllxlld Ll L B Under the supervrsron of Mother Mane St Paul the French Club has had a very active year No one would doubt this fact rf she passed by the door of a monthly club meeting and heard the lively French choruses and carols hrkrng songs and rounds rn two and three part harmony Every member wears an emblem rn the French national colors and takes part rn an Assembly grven each year for the Senlor School Comxcal skxts and songs succeeded one another, three of whrch have been repeated at the French Matmee Sur PIISCH g1ven at Gxrls' Hlgh School on February 18th. Last but not least, the French Club was responsxble for the French play grven to welcome Reverend Mother General on Aprxl 30th, dramatxzmg the l1fe of one of Mother General's favorite Salnts, St. Isaac jogues, a French jesuxt and American Martyr.

Front Row Mother Therese Margaret Fileen F lliott President Reverend Mother Kathleen Clisham Mother M Milagro Back Row Rosanne McGee Lupe Cortina Pat 'Vlayer Maureen Mcfrudden Marie Knup What do you do at Student Counc1l7 A bright eved freshman often asks this question which is easily answered At the meetings this year dis cussions varied from preparations for Mother Genera1's visit to the 'Harvest Dance ', or coming out to cheer the hockey games. Together the faculty and Council talked over school rules and activities and weighed each event for its contribution to a strong and unified school life. A Student Council Constitution was drawn up and adopted. As in previous years, we actively participated in the United Student Council Association of Xyt Catholic Academies Ar the monthly meetings of the Association there was an eager exchange of ideas The united academies not only helped one another in solvmg problems, but met together in a social atmosphere. One delightful event was the annual dance, Rhapsody in Blue, at LaSalle College is an enjoyable close to an enjoyable year, the academies held a picnic in Fox Chase. We humbly thank God who has so generously blessed our efforts and made the year one, we hope, of success.
