As they moved swiftly from grade to grade, new students joined their classes. Some of their classmates were left sadly along the way. Eleven of our present Senior Class were graduated from the eighth grade in Coeymans High in 1935. The following fall our membership was greatly increased when many new friends entered our class as Freshmen. VVe promptly elected james VVilsey Presi- dent of our class. Frank Everingham was Vice-President. and Lorraine Swarth- out, Secretary-Treasurer. Our first activity as a group of high school students was our Christmas Dance. Our Senior year found us both stately and eager. james Vllilsey is our President, Joseph Miller, Vice-Presidentg Hilda Gimlick, Secretary and NVinifred Hammond, Treasurer. Our first activities were a cafeteria and the sale of maga- zines 2111Cl pencils. After the Senior Carnival in the fall, we discussed plans for the Senior Ball, the social high-light of the season. It has been a year of work and happiness. Our labor was generously rewarded by an enjoyable trip to New York. lt is with sadness in our hearts and with heart-felt wishes of good luck to the under-classmen, that we leave dear Coeymans High. VVe sincerely hope that it will not forget us. Page Three
