This year, a benefit movie was held to raise money for these sweaters. Echoes The history of our school paper goes back to 1928 when students purchased the Echoes for 32.50 a subscription. The paper contained six pages and was published guarterly in Maryland. In 1931 a change occured in the Echoes . Instead of being printed. it was now mimeographed. The subscription price was lowered to 31.50. The co-editors of the Echoes of 1938-.39 are Ann Turner, Sylvia Augus- tine and Wlinifred Hammond. Each girl takes her turn at editing the paper. The faculty advisers of the school paper are Miss Cleland, Miss Matthews and Mrs. Meyers. Our paper now has a circulation of over two hundred, and sells for forty- five cents, a yearly subscription. The student body is rightly proud of the Echoes and it is considered one of the foremost activities of the school. E Page Twenty-one
