Our activities have been numerous. We had a cafeteria, sold hot dogs at football games, sponsored a benefit movie, gave a pancake supper and sponsored the annual Junior Prom. We also purchased our class rings this year. Sophomore Class Last year as Freshmen, we had the honor of being one of the largest classes ever to be registered at Coeymans High School. I After we had settled down and become acquainted, we held class elections re- sulting in the choice of the following class officers: Vernon Kendall, President, Harold Acker, Vice-President, Vincent Lyons, Secretary and Frank La Porte, Treasurer. Our only activity during our Freshman year was the annual Christmas Dance. This year saw a change in class administration. Vincent Lyons was elected Presidentg Vernon Kendall, Vice-Presidentg Theresa Domanico. Secretary, and Dorothy Meyers, Treasurer. Our student council representative is Everett Barber. The contributions to our Sophomore year were a Cafeteria and the annual May Dance. Both of these were outstanding successes. Freshman I am sure none of us will ever forget our first day at Coeymans High. Many new faces, teachers and students, some of which were to become close friends, were all present helping us to become acquainted. Those chosen to head our class were Randall Carhart, Presidentg June Southard, Vice-President, Elizabeth Giacomini, Secretary-Treasurer and Marion Miller, Student Council Representative. . This year we have the honor of being the largest Freshman Class in the his- tory of Coeymans High School even surpassing the class of '41, VVe are all very proud of this. Our outstanding event of the year was the annual Christmas Dance. This was a great success which was due to the help of our advisers, Miss Sawyer and Mr. Ray, and to the co-operation of the entire class. I Page Thirteen
