In the year of 1958, thirteen pupils with clean faces, and neatly combed hair, timidly climbed the stairs of education to gain four more years of know- ledge. The following fall Lewis Hickman dropped out leaving but one boy in the class This lucky chap was Paul Shaffer For a few months during our Sophomore year we were happy to have Connie Fogle as a member of our class At the beginning of our Junior year we were very fortunate in having Rachel Boardman join us bringing our class up to the lucky number of thir teen During our Junior year we successfully pre sented a three act comedy Mamma's Baby Boyn Nith the proceeds the class sponsored a trip to St Joseph for the Seniors On March 27 1942 we presented our class play Spooky Tavern', sponsored oy Mrs Umstead April 6, the class engoyed nSenior Day' at f the Maryville State Teachers College. The following Saturday the Junior Class were L our hosts, entertaining us with a trip to Kansas I City. S Five members of our class have been fortu- r Q nate enough to attend their entire twelve years at Ravanna.
