MARY NELL MILETA. Without her, this book of school memories would not have been able to get off the ground. A graduate of Raton High School, Mrs. Mileta is not only advisor for the annual, but does countless other jobs at RHS, besides being a dedicated wife and mother at home. So, Mrs. Mileta, it is to you, our advisor, friend-in-need, and teacher, to whom we dedicate this 1966 Edition of El Tigre. We hope that you will look back on this year and all your other years with RHS with fond memories. 4 Activities Are Restful for Some . . . Exciting for Others Learning 7 R.H.S. We will open it now and then and recall memories of some of the happiest times and events in our lives. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all those who contributed to the completion of this book, and especially to our sponsor who pleaded, begged, threatened, and did much of the work herself to help us reach our goals. It is with these thoughts in mind that the El Tigre Staff for 1966 must bid a sad, reluctant farewell to the faculty and the students of Raton High School. 175 A darkened school-The end of a day.
