As usually happens, that work has fallen heavily on a few people. The compensation for this additional work will be the extra training you receive and the satisfaction of having given of your time and ability over and above the call of duty. the spring of 1928. You might have let another year or many years pass without such a publication with no blame to yourselves. I personally appreciate your work and sincerely hope the Annual will be an annual from this year hence. V This high school last published such a book in E. E. Harrison

DEDICATION For her kind consideration and untiring efforts in bettering our school, we, the class of '48, dedicate our yearbook as a permanent record of our sincere appreciation. From teaching English to teaching journalism— this briefly summarizes Miss Gillespie's twenty-six years of unselfish service to Raton High. Few know the extent and originality of Miss Gillespie’s contributions to our curriculum. Thus it is that we, the students of the annual staff, take this method of honoring Miss Gillespie and expressing our gratitude for the devotion, service, and cooperative spirit which she has given to our school through two and one half decades.
