lv .::, rr sf X in my Mgliwmem I Aw? r 2 A ! ,M i l .X W l X A k 1 I 4, ff' N The Rafhdrum High School Annual Sfaff PRESENTS 1957 PANTHER TRACKS The graduating Class of 1957 .xo9 sqft? QQ! gratefully dedicate this annual to Reverend F. H. Cronkhite. It is our sincere hope that through this dedication We can express our thanks and appreciation to him for being a wonderful class advisor and annual advisor during our Senior year. Through his efforts and able guidance We feel that we have succeeded in all our attempts this past year. His likeable personality made him a friend to all of us, and his per- sonal interest in each of us will be remembered always. Thank you, Reverend Cronkhite, for being an inspiration to the Senior Class of 1957. -2- Dedication Reverend F. H. Cronkhite WITH HONOR WE PRESENT OUR ADMINISTRATION AND FACULTY MR. JOHN W. CROWLEY Superintendent, Lakeland School District No. 272 Our Principal and Coach MITCH KIBLEN Our Principal Says, We have an excellent school at Rathdrum. The spirit of co-oper ation of the school board, teachers, students are responsible for this. Having always believed there is room for improvement, I feel it is possible that we may even have a better school by unifying personal in terest to the interest of the group, school, and community. Our Superintendent says, When the school term is over, we are often reminded of events in the past and what effect they will have in the future. Success is what We are looking for, but sometimes the more up-setting events are pre- dominant. They seem to overshadow or at least cloud what We have achieved. So We can say the future will appear to us in relation to what we have contributed in the past. As many students before you have contributed to the development of your school and community, you also will leave a mark of distinction which can be a credit to your efforts. If your contribution has been based upon respect and honesty to others as well as to yourself, then your participation in school and community life will be a credit to you. To the students of Rathdrum High School, I wish you the best in all your future endeavors. -7- Our Beloved Faculty 1 w -avg..-..,,,,, 'O' ilv STANDING, lefr to right: Bud Hooper, jim Burns, Reverend Cronkhite, Mitch Kiblen George Wallace. We know that it was through your valuable guidance that our boys became con- ference champions in both football and basketball this year. Another achievement, this year of yours, is the fact that We became the Cham- pions of the Class B. Basketball Tournament on February 26, 1957. Yes, this has been a Wonderful year for sports at Rathdrum High School, and we owe all our success to you. For through your constant help and untiring efforts, you have made champions who will never forget you. A highlight of our sports year was when our boys became cham- pions of the Class B Basketball Tournament, for the second consecutive year, by winning over Priest River 51-47.
