The Electronics Technicians I E T'sj maintain the highly sensitive electronics equipment that allows the ship to navigate, communicate, track other ships and aircraft, as well as perform electronic counter- measures. The Electronic Warfare Technicians fEW'sj operate and maintain the ship 's electronic warfare equipment, extracting, interpreting and applying data to assist in keeping the ship informed of possible threat signals. The ship 's Radiomen CRM 's Q perform the vital communication link so essential to a unit designated to operate with or without company. while the Signalmen f5M'sj provide the silent ability to execute delicate formation manuevers as well as pro vide rapid and accurate communi- cations. The Gperations Specialists CO5'sj onboard work in the Combat Information Center KCICQ utilizing the ship 's radar to track surface and air contacts pro viding in valuable course, speed, closest point of approach information to the bridge.
