We started our season as number one and held that title for several games. We beat Stonewall for our first game, and finally succeeded in a long awaited win over Warren County. We made the game with Strasburg a stampede and the Central game will be long remembered. Most of all we were more than thrilled with playing in this years tournament. On opening night the mighty Panthers took on the state champion Bulldogs, for a rough and exciting game. Even though we lost the game we were more than proud of the fine game our boys played. We feel we’ve made a great deal of progress this year and hope for even better next year. 45 l«IUK« K ■Tv SCA Magazine Campaign ended successfully with $1800 for our goal. Seniors boys welcome chance to show off their class rings. Speakers at our assembly, “Bom To Be Free”, were The Honor- able John O. Marsh, Jr., Chief Garvin A. Gow'ens, Admiral Josef M. Gardiner, VFW Representative Carson Johnson, Principal Dennis B. Wingfield and The Reverend Charles Glacnzer. It was made with hours of tear provoking tension and LETTERMEN'S CLUB hard strenuous work. The annual staff has worked hard because it was our job, but we could not have done it alone. Many others that were not on the staff also gave their courteous help toward the work for this year’s annual, and without their help it could not have been published. We would like all of these people to m know that their kindness and help has not been over looked. To all those who helped us make the 1968 Rappsody what it is, we arc sincerely y grateful. Edward A.
