STANDING: Treasurer, Louise Racer; Reporter, Betty Kay Kilby. SEATED: Secretary, Betty Dodson; President, Charlie Smith; Vice-President, Alice Wood. CLASS OF 1963 The class of 1963 is, each day, moving a little closer to our future goal--graduation. A goal which, in the third year since entering RHS in 1958 as eight-graders, seems closer than we could possibly imagine during those first months. In the fall of 1959, we reached the first plateau; we were freshmen in high school. Being “real” high school students was certainly great, but there was one thing lacking; we were in two homerooms, separate and apart. We are now the Sophomore Class, organized to work together. So far, we have been somewhat restricted in our activities, but we hope in the coming years to accomplish big things. We are happy to have in our sophomore class members of the Varsity basketball teams, the Junior Varsity basket- ball team, the baseball team, the Rappsody staff, the FFA, the FHA, and the 4-H Club. Now, with two more years of high school before us, we look forward to many activities and face the coming years in the hope that we will measure up to the standards of Rappahannock High School. 30
