STANDING: Treasurer, J. G. Russell; Reporter, Charlotte Moore. SEATED: Secretary, Bonnie Brown; President, Nancy Latham; Vice-President, Steve Hawkins. CLASS OF We are Juniors, the first Junior class in the new high school. In the fall of 1957, we arrived at the old high school in Washington. There were enough of us to fill two eighth grade homerooms. Until this year we remained in separate homerooms. As sophomores, one section had a picnic on Skyline Drive and the other had a swimming party at Woodland Park. Mrs. Moffett’s room had a dance at Easter to start raising money for the Prom we would someday give. As Juniors, we are consolidated in one homeroom. We have lost some members during the years. From the original seventy-odd, we have decreased to forty-seven. The year of the Prom has arrived. To finance the social event of our high school career, we have sold candy and sponsored sock hops. 27
