5. 4' i .3 ei- Miss Aldo Adams, study hall teacher who generally deals with the prob- lem How to Influence Study Habits and Maintain Quiet, here points an authoritative finger at John Winkel and Ben Morrell, When dealing with the problem of maintaining quiet, Miss Adams is on expert, for with her own quiet manner, she has an air of being supreme in her own right and rare is the person who defies her. Friends, Romans, Countrymen, orates Bud Davis, sophomore English teacher, caught un- aware during o class. Might we say that Julius Caesar in this class is not always serious? , , if. ir 1. Teachers Exhibit lntense Instruction, Authoritative Action, Gallant Gestures Mrs. Ethel Wood explains the forms for writing themes to her creative writing class. She also in- structs advanced grammar and tenth grade English. The school magazine, Paha Sapa Sketches, has its fourth publication this year under Mrs. Wood. Many essay contests held are also under her guid- ance. Mr. A. E. Anderson, architectural, mechanical, and machine drawing instructor, has probably affected housing standards as much as any other person in Rapid City. For 2l years he has taught his students the fundamentals of architecture in drawing, giving them interests in this as a career. Not all developed this, of course, but every boy who has, remembers Mr, Anderson for his help and encouragement.
