and into These students, as you can readily see, are the busiest, most studious people you have ever had the pleasure to observe. Miss Adams has the situation well in hand. Well, don't be fooled by appearance. Even though everyone is as quiet as a mouse, their minds can be wandering, can't they? My, the way those typists' fingers Hy you'd think they'd make some mistakes. Oh, but they do. Mistakes are a penny a hundred these days. But, what can you expect? They'l1 be famous someday, and then you'll regret your jeers. He who laughs last, laughs best, they say. Look out! That tube is going to blow up, and where would we be-you needn't answer that. I never have inquired of Mr. Prunty what the mor- tality rate of his chemistry classes is because l'cl hate to embarass the poor man. But the way you hear rumors of blow ups, and people all bandaged up, it must be a very dangerous sub- ject. Oh, but students will brave anything for a little of that thing called knowledge. Mr. Moser's sociology classes are very inter- esting, with people popping up any minute and taking cunning candid camera shots of him. It must be very unnerving to him las you can well see in the following pages of this annuall. Well, anything to make life interesting. He tells us of the thrilling life of the criminal, so we imme- diately decide to have that profession as our life's ambition.
