WITHOUT THESE aetmstl The Superintendenfs office orce, iss uella Van Dusen. secretary to the Superintendent, and Marietta McLearie, supply and mimeograph clerk, are not as well known to the student body as a whole as the Principal's office force but they are very important in helping the Superin- tendent with his work. The school would not be the same without the smiling faces of Mrs. Crawford and Lois Rich- ardson to greet us when we are late. Mrs. Craw- ford can always feel perfectly safe to write out tardy slips, even though it will order a student to stay after school a half hour. You see, she is amply protected hy that nice, wide counter between her and the enraged student. The poor student has to Htake it on the chin and steal meekly away. Our building force has an unceasing job on its hands trying to keep the building present- able. R.C.H.S. students have been very fine in cooperating with them to keep our building at- tractive.
