SCHOOL The Board of Education is one institution of the school which previous Pine Cones have sad- ly neglected. As these men are the ones behind every activity of the school. as they have the ifinal voice in the hiring and tiring of teachers, and as they elect the Principal and the Superin- tendent, we decided to introduce them to you. They are: E. H. Swander, Dr. H. D. Newby, Superintendent E. B. Bergquist. Harley N. .lohn- son. Web Hill, Otto Barnett. and Earl Lewis. In order to make our school more of a democ- racy, the Student Council was organized. This Council is made up of one representative front each group in school. When it meets, it discus- ses ways and means of improving our school. 'Tis a hard job. but they do it gladly-at least they get out of class now and then. The officers are: Gerald Glaze, Presidentg Dan Leedy, Vice Presidentg Frances Larson, Secretary, Charlotte Harrison. Treasurer. Every student in R.C.H.S. belongs to the Stu- dent Association. Occasional meetings are held in the assembly for the purpose of approving recommendations for letters. Along with its oth- er duties, the officers decide the amounts of mon- ey with which they will subsidize certain school activities. There is one great advantage to be- ing a Student Association officereyou get a i'swell meal once a month. The officers are: Warren Williams. Presidentg Bill Lewis. Vice Presidentg Frances Larson, Secretaryg Betty .lean Besancon. Treasurer: Donald L'Esperance, Student Manager.
