and into These students, as you can readily see, are the busiest, most studious people you have ever had the pleasure to observe. Miss Adams has the situation well in hand. Well, don't be fooled by appearance. Even though everyone is as quiet as a mouse, their minds can be wandering, can't they? My, the way those typists' fingers Hy you'd think they'd make some mistakes. Oh, but they do. Mistakes are a penny a hundred these days. But, what can you expect? They'l1 be famous someday, and then you'll regret your jeers. He who laughs last, laughs best, they say. Look out! That tube is going to blow up, and where would we be-you needn't answer that. I never have inquired of Mr. Prunty what the mor- tality rate of his chemistry classes is because l'cl hate to embarass the poor man. But the way you hear rumors of blow ups, and people all bandaged up, it must be a very dangerous sub- ject. Oh, but students will brave anything for a little of that thing called knowledge. Mr. Moser's sociology classes are very inter- esting, with people popping up any minute and taking cunning candid camera shots of him. It must be very unnerving to him las you can well see in the following pages of this annuall. Well, anything to make life interesting. He tells us of the thrilling life of the criminal, so we imme- diately decide to have that profession as our life's ambition.

Our Classes Don't groan when I mention Algebra. Really, it isn't so bad. Miss Krieger can fill you 11p with equations faster than any other teacher on earth. Pretty soon you can spout them off like a regu- lar trouper. Equations are the things that can make life really interesting, so wake up and live with Algebra. Some day some lucky business man is going to have the privilege of having one of these love- ly shorthand students in his office-the lucky man! Can't you just see him, blessing the name of R.C.H.S. and incidentally. Miss Rohde, the teacher? Oh! for the life of a businessman. Did you know we had some up and coming artists in R.C.H.S.? Miss Adamson has a great many spoils in her room. Go see them if you want proof of our greatness. If you have that creative desire and you cover your books with clever pictures of pretty girls, etc., maybe the fires of genius are burning in you and you have the makings of an artist. Perhaps you, too, should take art and become a credit to your school. You might even get as good as our Art Editor, .lean Mount, some day. These Home Ec girls know their stuff, I'1l tell the world! The pies they can make, and the cakes, and the cookies! Oh, you lucky men-I mean the ones who'll have these girls- as their wives. They, at least, will have food 'gas good as mother made. They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. So, go to it, girls.
