Baseball Has Final Season Back Row: Coach Jon Nuttle, Bob Walker, Eugene Flax, Robert Schreiber, John Walker, Gene Wierman, Terry Weeks. Front Row: Alan Mishler, Mike Giess, Rob Giess, Gary Horchem, Mark Kraus, and Allen Zordel. If Coach Nuttle looks a little sad, it isbecausethis will be Ransom's last year of baseball. The school board reached this decision after considering the following: the limited number of boys in spring sports, the number of class interruptions due to two sports, the weather during spring, the fact that baseball is not a league sport, the competition of two coaches for the same boys, the de- cline in number of schools playing baseball, and an op- portunity is given the boys to play baseball in the summer.
