One Ad PSoy Jerry Buxton, Rosemary Ummel, and Earline Schwartzkopf were the cast of the one-act contest play, Recognition Scene from Anastasia. The play was presented at the NCL One-Act Play Contest where it re- ceived a 1 rating. The drama depicted the scene of recognition between the old Russian dowager empress, Rosemary Ummel, and the professed Anastasia, Earline Schwartzkopf. Jerry Buxton acted as a narrator. Qtu Lbnfc Cou tCtH PtOtoOfes The main objective of the Student Council is to promote high standards of citizenship and carry out special activi- ties of the school. Their projects of the year was the carnival, the Nativity Scene at the Nursing Home, all school parties, and after- game dances. The members include one representative from each class, band, and one from the Pep Club. Shown at left, working on carnival, members are: STANDING - Robert Wildeman, Pete Smith, Dick Mishler. SITTING - Shelly Shellenberger, Velma Luetters, Susan Luetters, Jane Horchem. The sponsors of the Student Council are Mrs. Buxton and Mr. Goering.
