Our freshman class consisted of ten members: Delores And- erson, Jerry Buxton, Bob Fairbank, Earl Friess, Gary Harkness, Dick Mishler, Pete Smith, Rosemary Ummel, Kathy Wildeman, and August Zordel. The class enroll- ment remained the same our sophomore year. Ross Mus- selman joined the class our junior year and Eugene Graf entered the class our senior year making the total twelve. We are now finishing our high school education and each of us will soon be going our separate ways to find our place in the world. Behind us we leave memories of our high school days: our initiation as green freshmen, classes, the Junior play Boss of the Powderhorn, our Junior-Senior banquet Moonlight and Roses, maga- zine sales, money-making projects, music festivals and many more things that have made up our four years. Before us lies an unknown future., but the knowledge and training we have received in high school gives us a firm foundation on which we can build our future. President. Jerry Buxton; Secretary. DREILING Ha s, Kansas KLITZKE TV SERVICE Ransom, Kansas Sports play an important part in the development of the individual. Both physical and mental hygiene are developed by participation in sports. Sports have no equal in character-shaping. Such traits as sportsmanship, loyalty, and cooperation are instilled in real athletes. Some authorities say that having so much professionalism as we have in the United States today encourages spectator participation, but not actual participation on the part of each individualI. Be that as it may, sports have achieved an apex of popularity through- out the world, at both the spectator and participant levels. Athletes and musicians alike were conveyed to games and festivals by the regular corps ot bus drivers, which included Mr. Sterling, Mr. Goering, Mr. Schweitzer, Mr Dietterich, Mr. Ohlemeier, and Mr. Voth.
