aplfO U9 Time: 1973 Place: New York City An Alumnae Meeting of the Senior Class of 1964 The following information is strictly gossip: Sharon: Boy, Marnette, it sure feels good not to have braces on anymore. Marnette: You said it. ToniField really knows her business when it comes to dental hygiene - but beware of her when she has a novocaine needle in her hand! Greta; All of you have to see Bev Brown in the Mikado at Carnegie Hall! Sandy: I know, he's simply wonderful! Greta: He! Sandy: Yes, she's playing opposite Marlon Brando in his first singing role! Dru: Laura Peterson is at the Hall also. There have been reports that her music sets the Hall vi- brating like a Model T Ford. Judy: She has quite a concert. While playing Liszt with one hand, she writes hate letters in the style of Cicero with the other. Just then Hannah, Beth and Connie come running in completely exhausted. Sally K.: What's up? Connie: Well, we were pacing along at a trot through Lever Brothers all glass office building, when sud- denly we crashed into the annex which Linda Davies had designed. Beth: Then we saw Lucy Van Devere dash from her law office after an ambulance which was going down Park Avenue. We went to Lucy's office to see what it looked like and there we found Judy Maichin, secretary for a child psychiatrist, Darrow Dutcher, calling Thelma Gabler, who is a nurse for a bite specialist. Hannah: She wanted to inform her that Darrow was racing madly to see her for she had been mortally wounded on the index finger by an irate youngster, one of Ana's numerous children. Barbie: Hey, that'sfunny. I just spoke to Judy Walker recently; she's working with juvenile delinquents in New York. Dorothy: That's some column Susan Baxter has in the paper. She's become another Sylvia Porter; has columns in all the important papers with advice on the ups and downs of the market and how to make the best of them. Gladys: Caramba, she even has one in the Caracas paper! Sally B.: Would someone like to come with me to Kentucky? Ginsie: What for? Sally B.: lwant to see Sue Hammond ride a horse that was sold to her by Kris Embry, who is now a horse breeder in Kentucky. She is going to attempt to win the Kentucky Derby for the second consecu- tive year. Ginsie: No, thanks. I'm going to Barnard College to take some language lessons from Leslie Lavigne. She's learned every language she possibly could, including the Eskimo language. However, it is said that she can be found every afternoon in Professor Cathy Phillips' room trying once again to master the English language. J ust then Bunny and Robin walked in with some cartoon sketches in their hands. Bunny: These are by Mariann Williams. We saw her signing them for people and asked her if she would sign ours. I Robin: She toldus that the History of Art course had impressed Pauline Rowe so much that she now may be found in her skin-diving outfit chipping away at pieces of stone on the buildings of the Lost City of Atlantis. Lorna: Here's alast bit of news. Sue Stokely has gone into sociology and is in charge of planning slum clearance in Bal Harbour, Miami Beach. Charlene: She has been removing all houses of less value than $50,000.
