Lverythina, went smoothly from then on till we reached tl e fn st rest statioi along our trail in May When ut were ready to go again we had Mass llasinussenagaan and Mr Penee as our guides Larry Scott loaned our group as we prepared to set out a am The elimbers then elected laillie Seidel Loren Godby and Bill Langley as their leaders for the next ninemonths Allen Reek This part of the Clllllb was a little bit hard r but we finally reached the next rest station where we rested for three more months After we had rested for three months we prepared for our neat lee of the cltmb Larl lnderson lS11l 'y1cNeely and Ruth Stoker joined us and Inn Daily Carol lsetchum Janice Lae key and Sharon Custer left Nlr Colteaux and Mrs llatson were our new guides Willie Seidel Sue llill and Brenda lluffman were our neya leaders while Loren Godby Clenn Olson and Brenda lluffm m were Student Council members At this point we lost lxathy Wells This part ofthe elnnb was easier eveept for the Junior Semor Prom whith we held May 8 1017 at the Wolford llotel an Danville Soon after the prom we reached our third and last rest station before we would reach the top After reaching this point we had mother thre months rest In August ol 1957 we prepared for what we hoped would be the list part of the climb Loren Godby Willie Seidel and Glynn Wolfe were unable to continue with us We elected Mary Lynn Seidel Larry Scott and Brenda lluffman as our lead rs Mr Staley and Miss Mitchell were to act as our guides whale l arry llanableton and Sue Hill were chosen to represent us in the Student Couneil Although thisparl of the elimb was hard it was very interesting and proved to be loads of fun We published the Broadcaster eyery six weeks and prepared the yearbook There were also the senior plav skip day elass night baccalaureate and all the other activities which made it our busiest year And now sooner than we expected too soon in fact we reached the top Graduationlllll als' - x 5:-r Q, 1 Q I .- , 1 1 ' 1' '41 ' , e I X Vx Y- 4 ' ' ' V 1 1 1 , ' , 1 ' 1 , .
