OER Division OER Division is RANGER's radar and navigation equipment repair divisiong responsible for air and surface search radars, automatic carrier landing system radars, and navigation equipment. During RANGER's underway periods, OER's workeenters consistently keep the navigational equipment in top form for navigating the ocean blue and the channels of the various ports that she may enter. During llight operations, the ACLS workcenter is responsible for the sale landings and takeolifs ofthe various squadrons assigned to RANGER. The SINS workeenter maintains the Ships lnertial Navigation System Equipment which keeps our position up to date while under way.
