Elizabeth Hunger We the class of 1985 dedicate this year’s Tatler to Mrs. Elizabeth Hunger. We realize how hard it was to handle us, but she was able to keep us under control, and actually able to get us to work together. We appreciate your time spent with us, so that this graduation could be special for each and every one of us. Thanks for keeping us so entertained with Sam, he always seemed to break the tension in class, even though he did make mistakes typing our tests! CURLEY Congratulations, Good Luck and Best Wishes to Class of 85 SADDLEBACK MOTOR INN 5 BEAUTY ALL AROUND Indian legend tells us. they had a chanting sound Sacred to them, it meant, there’s “beauty all around” — But, that was years ago, when they had their way — And the beauty they had found, was long before my day — For in our modern times, I really must confess. It’s hard to find much beauty, in the way we must progress We need our hi-rise buildings, so life can keep its pace — And for future progress, we’re exploring outer space — We're living with an arms race, should someone get rude — That will see us all in Hell, fighting for bubbling crude — But, there’s a place I know away up North in Maine Where legends still are heard, they are pretty much the same — If you ever get to go there, listen for their sound — You’ll hear their echoes ringing, “there’s beauty all around” — “Jeep Wilcox 6 Best of Luck From: RIDDLE’S LIGGETT REXALL PHARMACY President: Secretary: Sara Prescott Lori Searles Vice-President: Nancy Latty Treasurer: Dianne Duchesne cfowisL-' 7 Eloise Rose Bates “Squeeze “Today's dreams are tomorrow's future.” Basketball 3. 4; Chcerlcading 2. 3, 4; Softball Mgr. 2, 3; Vice Presi- dent 3; Business Mgr. Sometimes it’s tortuous, A character test. Our days here are numbered By the goals we set. The World, open before us. Needs only be met. Friends we’ve become, Friends we’ll remain. Yet the paths of our travel Will not be the same. Have I earned my wings So that I might soar? Have I the skill to reach That distant shore? Will 1 know what’s expected? Have I learned the rules? Can 1 succeed With this set of tools? Any goal is possible That begins with a dream. Problems, never as difficult As they may seem. Success comes to those Who sacrifice; who pay The price. Can 1?
