THE TATTLER 1965 VOLUME XLIX GALEN S. SAYWARD Maih and Science instructor. Coach of Skiing, Track and Field, we re- spectfully dedicate this issue of THE TATTLER. If I could know, when each day dies, I had brought joy to tired eyes; If I could know, when falls each night, I'd helped to make some child's life bright; If I could know, at set of sun, The fruit of some good deed I'd done I'd count my life of grander mold Than if I’d simply gathered gold. We had six girls: Donna Scribner, Janet Russell, Kendra Ellis, Pam Pillsbury, Brenda Hinds and Hellen White who participated in the All Stars' Game which was held in Phillips. Also this year we had a game with the Alumni. This was sponsored by the P. T. A. and it was more in the entertainment line. We had rather an unsuccessful season as we won only two games out of ten. For our regular meets, we participated in Winter Carnivals held by each team. In our own Winter Carnival held at Bald Mountain, we placed second to Farmington in a closely contested meet. Although we won only two meets out of five, we had some very close margins, which ranged from one point to four points. In every meet we had at least one person place within the tfrst three places in every event. We enjoyed our trip to the State Girls' Field Day at Bangor although none of our girls managed to place.
