6 'l' ll F 'l' at home. and then thc Guidance teacher is consulted. As it is. the principal. or each faculty member. in smaller schools has to ac: as a Guidance teacher. It will probably be some time before small schools take over this Guidance Program. but it is coming. Every year there is a Guidance meeting in Farmington. This year it was made up of a panel of students, one of parents, and one of teachers. and school problems were dis- cussed. The panels consist of one representa- tive from every town in Franklin County. As this program grows. let's have Rangeley High School among the first to sponsor it. The students of today are the citizens of to- morrow. and they need all the help available to make them GOOD citizens. Statistically Minded If you are in sympathy with the above cap tion perhaps the following facts are in order .I. TI .LR Rangeley High School had its inauguration in 1903-1904. with the first class graduating in 1907. Therefore this year will mark the 46th graduation. Next year's freshmen will have the distinction of being the Sflth class to hold Commencement exercises from our halls of learning. in 1957. During these years of existence there have been nine superintendents and fifteen princi- pals. There is no record of the various class- room teachers who have come and gone. But we have been able to count the number of graduates and find that there are 562. including the graduates of this year. Of that number 327 have been girls and 235, boys. 22 of these are deceased. and many of the others have most successfully achieved happy niches in life. lt is hoped that all these graduates might be present for a gala and htting reunion celebra tion in connection with the 10th Fommence ment ceremonies l N N rii ii is Ni Ntitntv lrnt Rv nu t 4 it .
