ROY WEST Peck I Love and Live. Basketball 2, 3, 43 Track 2, 3, 4, Baseball 35 One-Act Plays 2, 3, 4, Orchestra l, 2, 3, Dramatics Club 3, Crafts Club 3, 45 Senior Three-Act Play, Cheerleader 4. MARY WILLIAMS Mary Nature's above art in that respect. One-Act Plays 1, 2, 35 Basketball lg Cheerleading 2, 3, Softball 3, Senior Three-Act Play. The TATTLER CLASS OF 51 Seniors! It .seems incredible! After our long hard struggle over a period of twelve years we've finally made it! We started the year by electing the following officers: president, Richard Mac- Iverg Vice President, john MacPherson 3 secre- tary-treasurer, Jennie Holman. We were again represented well in both boys' and girls' basketball. Jennie Holman and Gerry Murphy have done a swell job representing the Seniors. The following boys also did a grand job, displaying fine competition with the best of schools: John MacPherson, Richard Maclver, Page Eleven Billy Dunham, Robert Lee, and Roy West. We also presented an unusual play, Sub- merged, directed by Mr. Lamb with the fol- lowing cast: Billy Churchill, who was the lead- ing actor of the night, John MacPherson, Rus- sell Boutlier, Richard Maclver, Roy West, and Paul Field. A very realistic stage set was con- structed by the Seniors. We wish to thank all the teachers and friends for helping us with our most successful year in Rangeley High School. Rov Wesr '51

The TATTLER JUNIOR CLASS First row. left to right: joey Mellafferty. Ernest Steward. David Porter. Oneida Wilkins. Dick Stanehfield, Louise Lamb. Second row: Linwood Dennison. jay Hoar. Clayton Philbrielt. Eddie Rich. Dick Johnson. Stanley Eustis. JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY This year the juniors have gone political in a big way, having had not only elections but also reelections. For the first part of the year our officers were: president, Oneida Wilkinsg vice- president, Dick Stanchfieldg treasurer, David Porterg secretary, Louise Lamb. When the second semester rolled around, we were otlicered as follows: president, Dick Stanchfieldg vice- president, Dick johnsong treasurer, Ernest Stew- ardg secretary, Louise Lamb. At Christmas we sponsored the annual party for the student body, not a money-making pro- position but an opportunity to be in the true spirit of the season and spread cheer. Plans are now being formulated for the annual junior Prom, which this year will be held on May llth It is being predicted that the event will be one Page Thirteen of the best Proms Rangeley has seen for some time. Our class was well represented in basketball, as we provided Clayton Philbrick and Big joe McLafIerty for the first string, with Dick johnson bringing up the rear! In the interclass games we finished third. In the interclass One-Act Play Contest we presented Minnie Field with a cast made up of all boys, some of whom had never trod the boards before. We found there were embryonic, incipient, and potential Thespians in our midst! We tied with the sophomores for second place. Next year we hope to continue to be a credit to Rangeley High when we shall lead all the rest as the honored seniors. CLAYTON PHILBRICK '52 DICK IIOI-INSON '52
