The main goal was raising money to buy a new agriculture truck. This project has been partially completed. They have been selling scrap iron, dehorning cattle, spon- soring a community calendar and a pig chain project. The boys held their annual pest-eradication contest again this year. David Brenner was captain of the north side and Harold Hargrave of the south side. The north side won with a compara- tively large margin. The F.F.A. officers attended an officers' training school at Clay Center, Kansas, October 16. They brought back several new ideas to help improve their chapter. The Randolph Chapter was chosen to train eight practice teachers. The senior boys and MP. Stephens journeyed to Fort Worth, Texas, to attend the Fort Worth Cattle Show on January 27. The F.F.A. boys sponsored a district shop contest on March 28. Twenty-five schools participated. The annual F.F.A. Banquet was held March 20. Several of the members have taken part in poultry and speaking contests. The F.F.A. boys have contributed much time and effort in completing the agriculture building. A telephone, lockers, showers, and hot water heater have been installed this year. The F.F.A. Chapter brought to a close a very successful year, feeling that they had accomplished a great many needs.
