Present are many of the most !f famous and important citizens of the Nat1on.0n-Y ff ly by their best friends can they be recognized as A the Class of 1950 from R. R. H. S. W' ' W fe Claude DeLong, now married to Lu Ann Boles, is laster of Ceremon- ies. They have been running the Hotel for the past seven years and have made it a very thriving business enterprise. At roll call each member stands and tells about his or her present work. We are not surprised to find that Jackie and Jim Anderson were married as soon as Jim graduated from K-State, and are now living on the Anderson Farm,wh1ch is located north of Randolph, and Q mile south of the Tuttle Creek Dam. Jim is very interested in his purebred Brahma Dairy. Junior Mann answers roll with a very interesting synopsis of his current book, 'Four Easy Lessons for a Perfect Physique. Next, Marilyn Dettmer gave us a brief out-line of herself. Yes, after graduating, she married her High School sweetheart, Bobby John- son, and has been helping him in his office where he is manager of I. H.C. in Des Moines, Iowa. Arnold Hedke tells us that since graduating from K-State, he has become over-seer of the Tuttle Creek Dam. For the benefit of all his old g1rlfr1ends,he is still single and his office is on lOth and Main, Randolph, Kansas. We noticed a very sly-looking young gentleman in a dark suit and a bright red bow t1e.It was none other than Arlo Peterson, who is run- ning the Bank Club in Reno, Nevada. Nancy and Buzzy finally decided to settle down. Buzzy is now carrying out his farming program in the rich Blue Valley at the mouth of Carnahan Creek, They have twins, a boy and girl, who have been giv- en the names, Jerry and Cherry. Two members of the class have risen to the top in National Poli- tics. They are Phil Byarlay, who is president of United States, and Jo Ann Burgman, his faithful secretary. Phil is still single, but it is rumored that Jo Ann will be the first lady d'the United States pret ty soon. Kay Springer is married to Ralph DeWyke, who is running the BBM R go. Kay spends her spare time drawing pictures for the Carnegie Art nstitute. One fellow None other than do. His report Lyle Pfaff attracted our attention right away. Guess who it was! There was one lady whom everyone was interested in. Yes! it was Joan Roblyer, who is the World Famous Wrestler. Joan has been married four times, and has two adopted children, Joe and Jerry. Roger Stitt surprised us. He is now president of Harvard Univer- s1ty.He shouldn't get lonesome as one of his classmates is a big wheel there also, Harlan Forslund The students were not running a big Wyoming sheep cane, and giving his wife a years after graduating and is head janitor. surprised to hear that Marion Brenner is ranch, and that 1sn't all. He is raising hard time. He came back to Randolph three marries his High School sweetheart, Deona I Peterson. To our surpr1seaRobert Springer tells us he is appearing in nYes, Sir, That's My Baby , and tells us 1t's a good picture and everyone should see it. Everyone thought Jerry he decided to become a missionary to ing and exciting resume of his experiences there. Ruth Pate settled down as soon as school was out. Her husband, Charlie Wohler, is now running the Wohler-Eshbaugh Funeral Home. Ruth is quite busy taking care of their baby boy, Charlie, Jr. If anyone is interested in purchasing Guinea Pigs, we are happy to inform you that Mr. and Mrs. Arland Benteman, the former Miss La Verne Sump, now own and operate 'The Sqealy Guinea Pig Con. iYgs! Everyone had beenA surprised when Arland and LaVerne were marr e on the Senior Sneak, pril l, 1950. Last, but not least,we thought we were all through, but we received some telegrams from the members who were unable to attend. Marlene Kershaw said she was very sorry she couldn't attend. She is a Registered Nurse, and her patient, Eldon Springer, had a serious case of 'Loveslck Bluesn, and couldn't be left alone at any time. Because of an unexpected elopement and honeymoon to Paris with her director, Miss Opal Hedren, leading lady in nHere Comes the Navyn, sent her greetings and a picture of herself to all. Our class put into action three boys for basketball and football. They are: Jim Brooks, Harold Hargrave, and David Brenner. Arlis Eergsten, Joyce Malmstrom, and Alyce Wohler took part in girls' basketball, adding much to the scoring of our team. November l8, 1949, we proudly presented a three act play, Three Old Maid Aunts . Playing a few hot notes on their clarinets, Patsy Lilley and Ar- lis Eergsten represented us in band, while Bill Estabrook and Joyce Malmstrom kept the rhythm hot with their tum-tum-tums ofthelr drums. The Sophomores took the pleasure of initiating us September 9. That night we joined in the all-school party, which was very enter- taining. The Freshmen boys had a double-dose of initiation, when the F. F. A. boys took them into their organization. Early in September we had a hayrack ride. This was our first class party. We enjoyed it very much. We also took part in a few of the social activities. A school dance, December 2, was a new experience to some of us. December 2O,we did our caro1ing,and December 22 was a thrill for ue too, when we par- ticipated in the Christmas Cantata. As you see, we are trying to take all advantages that our high school offers.
