L05 Ffesnos- Fleming, Baumgardner and Fitz are ready to maul a falcon. RO-HAWKS PULVERIZE LOS FRESNOS- WIN REGIONAL TITLE The super Ro-Hawks completely defeatbered the Los Fresnos Falcons by a score of 56-O at the Alamo Heights Stadium. The game, which was supposed to be a high scoring tilt for both teams, was completely one-sided as the tremendous Ro-Hawks de- fense held the inadequate Falcons to 39 yards rushing and 117 yards in the air, where the Falcons supposedly performed best, All the Ro-Hawk defenders distinguished themselves, but defensive backs Steve Griem, Tom Bice, and Terry Fox knocked down and intercepted passes all night while the terrific Ro-Hawk front four threw the Falcon quarterback for mounting losses Tailback Tom Roberdeau 1ed the offensive charge by scoring four times on gallops of 12, 91, 2, and 6 yards that were secured by outstanding front line and down-field blocking. James Meredith scored on a weaving 39 yard jaunt and a fine broken field ramble of 29 yards, The excellent passing by quarterback Tex Allshouse and Steve Swinney, the second team signal caller, accounted for two touchdowns as they connected with end Ted Draper and Steve Griem.
