Oux FHA Officers - Front Row; Staci Nordhues. Marcy Reineke. Second Row; Val McDonald. Stephanie Brunssen. Third Row; Sally Burmester. Leann Rohde. FHA had a busy schedule this year. On November 4 they attended the District Convention held in Emerson. Nebraska. Sally Burmester ran for District Officer and was elected. Missy Coenen was elected to be on the Families and Future PEP Squad Team. PEP Squad is a group in which Peers are Educating Peers. In January the following medals were given for SEARCH participants. Missy Coenen -Top Gold for Family Living and Parenting. Stephanie Brunssen - Gold for Food Nutrition, and Sally Burmester - Top Gold for Illustrated Talk. Missy and Sally both qualified to compete at the state level they received a silver and bronze. Candy sales and raffles were sponsored to raise money to help pay for the state qualifiers to attend the conference in Lincoln. They also had their Second Annual Talent Show in which many participated. The new officers are President - Stephanie Brunssen, Vice President - Sally Burmester. Secretary Treasurer - Jeri Bargstadt, Histori-an Student Council - Leann Rohde, Reporter -Jill Rasmussen. On April 18 they held the FHA Banquet for the induction of the new officers.
