The Royal Dance. The Royal Court. Moving to the beat. “This is the Time to Remember” by Billy Joel, was the theme song for the 1986-1987 FFA-FHA Sweetheart Ball. Freshman Attendant was LeAnne Rhode. Attendants from the Sophomore Class were Jim Eddie and Stephanie Brunssen. Junior Attendants were Don Nordhues and Marci Thelen. The Queen Candidates were Kelly Ger-kins, Trish McFadden, Patti McCarthy and Patti Milander. Brian Berner, Rick Nordhues, Dan Thelen and Doyle Brunssen were the King Candidates. Patti McCarthy and Doyle Brunssen were crowned Queen and King by last year’s queen, Mary Schaefer. Last year’s king, John Gubbels, was unable to attend the Ball. The Crownbearers were Amy Thelen and Greg Jensen. Decorating for the event was done by the FFA and FHA members with blue and silver as the colors. Decorating was done the morning before the dance. Music was provided by the K.G. 95 Hitman. Sponsors: Dorothy Jensen and Dennis Bazata. SWEETHEART BALL 21
