JUNIORS ACTING OUT MEMORIES This year's Junior Class presented the play, The Facts of Life, The cast was Front Row: Deb Milander, Jodi Scott, Mary Schaefer, Julie Pentico, Julie Carstens, Darcy Speer, and John Gubbels. Second Row: Dawn Gerkins, Angie Steffen, Becky Gubbels, Sharon Gubbels, Jackie Borst, Michelle McLain, Kerry Robinson, Vicki May, Cindy Berner Third Row: Janeen Kittle, Connie Nordhues, Kirby Meyer, Gary Gubbels, Jeff Backer, Jim Hay, Loren Isom, and Mark Strathman. Fourth Row: Paul Koehler, George Bradley, and Brian Kint. The student directors were Cindy Berner, Dawn Gerkins, Connie Nordhues, and Angie Steffen. The best actor was Paul Koehler, and best actress was Jackie Borst. The best supporting actress was Julie Carstens, and best supporting actor was Darcy Speer.

LET’S REVIEW ACT The students in art class completed fine pieces of art. Many of the art students received special recognition for their accomplishments in art. Kristie Borst, Judd Claussen, and Jami Riedel received Honorable Mention in Art I and John Keifer and Tyler Osborn were recognized for their efforts in completing pieces of art work outside of art class. The art students received ribbons at the Fine Arts Festival. Best of Show went to Judd Claussen for his blue ribbon pencil drawing. John Keifer: one blue (pencil drawing) and four red (mixed media, pencil drawing, and acrylic painting of landscape); Tyler Osborn: one white (acrylic painting) and four red (nature drawing in pencil, figure drawing in oil pastel, and still life in pencil); Jeremy Kilburn: one red (cartoon in mixed media); Jami Riedel: one white (pencil drawing) and four red (watercolor landscape, pencil drawing, and tempra painting); Judd Claussen: four white (water color landscape pencil drawing, and acrylic painting of landscape) and one red (acrylic painting); Mike Bach: Two white (tempra painting, and acrylic landscape) and two red (watercolor landscape and pencil drawing); Kristie Borst: one blue (pencil drawing), four red (tempra painting, landscape in acrylic, pencil drawing, and nature drawing in pencil and two white (water color and charcoal drawing); Brian Beeken: two blue (pencil drawing and nature drawing and one white (watercolor landscape). 25
