Second Row: Lisa Kint, Michelle Dredge, Jackie Borst, Karla Tunink, John Pflanz, Michelle McLain, Janice Carpenter, Bonnie Fish, Becky Gubbels, Julie Carstens, Malinda Goldman. Third Row: Patti McCarthy, Vicki May, Kerry Robinson, Ann Sauser, Ann Nannen, Brian Backer, Donny Tunink, Corby Robinson, Julie Pentico, Brenda Meyer, Sharon Gubbels, Marci Moser, Shelly Wattier. The Randolph High School Choir and Swing Choir started off the 1984-1985 school year with their Vocal and Instrumental Winter Concert which was held on December 14th. Mrs. Linda Rogers accompanied them with the piano. On March 11, The Randolph Swing Choir, along with the Plainview Swing Choir, went to participate in the Stanton Swing Choir Clinic. The 15th Annual High School Choir Clinic was held at Wayne State College on March 15. The Randolph High School Choir and nine other area high school choirs participated. On March 21st, all choir students performed at a NTCC Jazz Swing Choir Festival in Norfolk. The Swing Choir performed at Brian Meyer's benefit on March 23rd. Contests were held on April 19th and 20th in Wayne. Malinda Goldman, Donny Tunink, Brian Backer, and Tyler Osborn were the students who presented solos. Tyler Osborn and Donny Tunink both received Superiors. The Choir and Swing Choir also performed with the Swing Choir receiving a superior. An octet of students was also put together to give a presentation. On May 14th, a High School Musical was held which was called In Search Of The Perfect Song and for graduation, on May 19th, the Swing Choir performed. 12
