The Shrine Bowl Game is a benefit to help support the 22 Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children. The game is played in Lincoln in August. The dividing line in splitting talent into a North South” team is Highway 30-30-A. Lincoln and Omaha schools are represented on both teams. Mr. Jim Blessen Weak Legs May Walk!” Roger Fuchs, a 3 year letterman of RHS, and the son of Mr. Mrs. Lawrence Fuchs of Belden was selected as a member of the North squad. Roger Mr. Blessen will spend two weeks prior to the game at a practice camp at Midland College. They visit the Shriner's Hospital prior to the game where they get acquainted with crippled and burned children being treated because of funds such as those generated by the Shrine Bowl of Nebraska which is a part of Shrine-dom’s great philanthropy.
