We are the first group of seniors to have begun our senior high days together after the consolidation of St. Frances and Randolph Public Schools as well as enrolling seven or eight country schools. The Freshman year started with elections which produced Cindy Rohde as President. Roland Sporleder as Vice President, and Wes Beltz as Secretary-Treasurer. Float-making kept us busy until November, then basketball took over. Our freshman basketball team was undefeated and were guests at a victory party given by Coach Whitney. A class party ended the year. Our Sophomore year was led in by election of Wes Beltz as President, Doug Eddie as Vice President, and Valerie Gosch as Secretary-Treasurer. We again undertook Homecoming floats as our first project. The exciting part of the year came in April when we ordered our class rings to officially begin our Junior year. We of the Junior class began busily planning for our year under the leadership of President Doug Eddie, Vice President Tim Kint, and Secretary-Treasurer Cathy Walz. After floats, we started making plans for the Junior-Senior Prom. We proudly delegated to bring back the banquet and we did. After the banquet, prom started moving and Sally Lackas was selected as Queen under the theme of Dancing in the Moon light. We ended our year by eagerly enrolling for our Senior and final year at RHS. At the beginning of our Senior year it seemed almost like a repeat of the Junior year since election of officers again produced Doug Eddie as President, TimKint as Vifce President, and Denise Caster as Secretary-Treasurer. First place was received for our Homecoming float and Valerie Gosch and Doug Eddie were Chosen King and Queen. The end of October and we reluctantly posed for'picturcs. The second semester came and all prepared for graduation by buying mementoes such as memory books, keys, announcements, thank-yous, and other keepsakes. Then prom rushed in and took over the scene, invitations were received and everyone waited happily as Kim Kuhl was crowned King at the prom. Now nothing remained except Baccaulaureate and Commencement. Practice sessions and finally--the real thing. Nervousness is felt as we march in. The grand finale of tliirteen years, some less. The gowns rustle as we go up and accept our diplomas. Afterwards, the tears; tears for joy„ for sorrow, and for relief-finishing up a hectic year. And now. life goes on.
