JUNIOR CLASS PLA Y The junior class play, Aunt Tillie Goes to Town , was performed November 10, with an outstanding crowd attending. The play starts out with Aunt Tillie giving her maid, Lucinda strict orders about having any men in her house while she goes away to collect an inheritance from an Uncle. As the play unfolds our hero Mervin Tucker tries to escape his girlfriend, his friends, and some Chinese bullies by coming to his Aunt’s house. There he runs into an old friend, Ronald who tries to help Mervin out of his predicament. Towards the end of the play, Mervin makes up with his girlfriend, finds Ronald a bride and ends the side splitting comedy. The cast consisted of the following: Cheryl Beltz, Peg Hokamp, Debbie Schnoor, Betty Loberg, Darlyn Hansen, Lynn Dowling, Ricky Young, Steve Hesse, Vicki Kruegar, and Donna Bauer. Under the direction of Mrs. Jordan and Mr. Beardshear the play was a success. Thank you for your help. Ricky what size of barrel do you take? Ricky needs more hair so he can play his role as Aunt Tillie. Darlyn lights Ricky up as he relaxes. Donna tests Ricky's reflexes and gets results. Donna finds help to hold Ricky down and she gets to the trouble spot. Our sponsors Mrs. Jordan and Mr. Beardshear. 24
