in idtration FRED M. POKORNEY Science, H.S. Ravenna, U. of Nebraska, U. of Wyoming, U. of Omoha, Masters Degree, Public School Administration. SUPERINTENDENT Mr. Fred M. Pokorney, attended the University of Nebraska, and received a Bachelors of Science Degree. His graduate work was at the University of Wyoming. His Masters was awarded while he attended the University of Omaha. Mr. Pokorney spent six years in the ser ice during World War II. Mr. Pokorney was coach of football, basketball, and track at Shelton, Nebraska. He served as principal at Creighton and at Weeping Water, Nebraska. His duties included football coaching at both places. He also was the principal at Loup City, and at Broken Bow. Mr. Pokorney has spent fifteen years as a superintendent of schools. Five of these years have been at Randolph. We wish you the best of luck in the'tuture, Mr. Pokorney. EVA M. STRATHMAN English Math, H.S. Randolph, W.S.T.C., U. of Colorado, M.A. from W.S.T.C. PRINCIPAL Eva Mae Strathman, has been our principal for twelve years at Randolph, Nebraska. She received her AB and MA degrees at WSTC. She majored in Education and English, and minored in Social Science. She attended the University of Colorado for three summers. In Randolph High, she teaches English IV, Dramatics, and is Counseling Math. She is also the Librarian. Previously Mrs. Strathman taught school in Emerson, and Sholes, Nebraska, and in Rural Schools. We all wish that we had more teachers like Mrs. Strathman.
