61644 poem We the authors, he, she, and me, Put on our earmuffs so we could see, with paper in hand, pen on table, We scratch-our heads and begin this fable. Our sponsor, Janice Anderson, really is a dandy, We call her Miss Anderson, but others call her Andy, Mr. Prouse is such a nice guy, We Seniors are sorry to bid him good-bye. That the teacher is always wrong is Elmer Domina's theory, Pretty girls make Elmer jump, but school work makes him weary. Genevieve Jacobsen is the little lass, Who is the sleeping problem in our Modern Problems Class. Jay Larson, that great big male, Said, Me eatum 'peanuts' and turn real pale. Don and Delma sat on a tee, Gave each other a club and said, Aim at me! No matter what is said or done, JoAnn M. is always the different one. Undecided is Gerald S. The gal he'll pick no one can guess. Wilma's a friend to everyone, She's cute and sweet and full of fun. Robbie's favorite pastime is talking, Unless girls are aroundg then, of course, it's gawking. Henry Stoltenberg is next on our list, He's two past sixteen and has never been kissed. Red Haired Jean, the classes brain, In life she's sure to make a gain. Ar1is's present plans include being a teacher, ln the future, however, Alvin may be the main feature. Tom was a stranger and we took him in, Now he is considered one of our men. Likeable Jim to the class gives a spark, Whatever is said, he adds a remark. Next we have Gladys, our family type girl, When she gets going,things are a-whirl. Upon wise-cracking Ben, our class can rely, We agree with Virginia that he's quite a guy. Next is a boy we all call Laze Plainview girls leave him in a daze. Active Sandra Benson is light-hearted and gay, She's always rocking to and fro in her characteristic way Tall Dale B. in most things is slow, But when behind the wheel, he really likes to go. Gilly Andrew, our city-slicker boy, Says being with Cleo is my life's joy. And though this poem must now come to an end, On this one thing you can depend, That through the passing years and days, We, seniors, will not change our ways.
