Well Bless my-buttons: it's Don Stamm, Don still lives around Randolph on a farm, He how ever is one of the most well known farmers in the country. He is also one of the most scientific farmers in the state. In addition he has placed very high in the national contests, Can you guess what? Don gives credit to his start in this field to the F, F, A, Is this Virginia Taylor '? Yes, at least it was her name when she went to school. She lives in Sioux City and her husband is district manager of all the Texaco oil stations in the district, Here is Carl Vollerson, the president of our Senior year twenty-five years back, He has changed, very little Ican see, Carl has also hit the top. He is foreman-in-chief of Electrical Engineers in General Electric's huge plant at Schenectady, New York, From the looks of the car he drove up in he is not working for peanuts. ' ' Next to perambulate through the door was Marcelene Wagner, She has really got a job. She is Head Nurse at Walter Reed Memorial Hospital in Washington, D. C. My here comes a little man with an intelligent ldok on his face, Yes, it's Duane We st, Can you guess his job? He is head professor of all mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology, better known as Georgia Tech, Here is the Mathematical brains' sister--Elaine, She is of course married and resides out of the town of Osmond, Her husband owns a great deal of land and they, plus dependents, are well on their way toward prosperity And last, but not least there is yours truly Ed Atwood. I imagine you all remember Walter Winchells' death, As of not too long ago Itook over his program, A survey was taken recently and my program was declared the most listened to program in the United States. I was about to say good-by when I came upon two dear friends of the Senior Class, They are none other than our sponsors, .Tim Wolph and Bill Norvell, Mr. Wolph is now on the verge of retirement as he is sole owner of Wolph's c-lothing, the largest, and most luxurious men's clothing store in Denver, Colorado, Mr, Norvell, now farms on the side, but devotes almost all of his time to the Government, He is President Pro Tempore of the United States Senate and is one of the most influential senators in the United States. , N 1-nmmwwf et1m.,.,r: A , ,,.., l,,l.wm4-V, - .

The Class--Tomorrow The graduating class of 1953 met again together in 1978 to celebrate their 25th armiver- sary. Carl Vollerson, the class president of 1953 sent all class members a letter directing them as to the plans of the reunion, I received my letter from Carl informing me to meet on May 20th in the auditorium of the recently constructed S3000,000,00 Randolph High School. lflew to Sioux City Via T,W,A, new jet engined passenger plane and then hired an inexpensive helicopter to fly me to Randolph, 1 arrived early for the celebration, consequently I was the first there - I marveled at the structure of the new high school building, The janitor showed me in and we walked to the auditorium, As I reached for the door it opened by the means of an electric eye, As I was exploring the room I heard voices down the hall, One was the voice of the now famous Ilene Bauer, She is famous now for giving the world the most efficient flu pill it has ever had, She said she found the pill's formula through long study and interest, It seems she became first interested in flu pills while a Senior in high school, . Next to arrive was the famous Marsha Brummer, Marsha still had that ornery look on her face that always possessed her, She tells me that she has long since settled down to be a famous housewife and 1 hear tell she is one of the best in the country, Who is this woman? Well as I live and breathe its Patty Broer, Patty tells me she is the wife of a Professor of Education at the University of Colorado and they are living 'in Boulder, Patty, who is a registered nurse, tells me she worked steadily at it until ten years ago when she settled down to strictly the chores of a housewife and carrying for her four children, Well who is this well poised girl, By gosh I believe it's Genny Dowling, Genny tells me she is secretary to the president of a large insurance company in Chicago, Jean Grone came next, She has been teaching in one of the New York grade schools, She is also giving Congress a hard time by trying to get a Sadie Hawkins Day law passed, She finds trapping a big time newspaper editor very hard, as it is easy for someone famous to play hard to get, Well who is this, it's Elda Jensen, Qformerlyj Elda di.dn't have far to come for she lives about 45 miles out of Randolph, She has been married twenty-four years now, Life is never dull, though for she had six deductions from Dean's income tax report, to take care of, Well, here is a person everyone knows, even after twenty-five years, Mr, Duane Lewis has made himself famous by his widely read editorials in the New York Times of which he is editor-in-chief, Louie is just as carefree as he ever was, I find after visiting with him, By George, I believe that this is Claryce Nelsen coming in the door, Claryce has been a secretary for twenty-five years, She has worked up gradually until now she has a well established position, She is the secretary to the chief producer of 20th Century-Fox in Hollywood, California, I know this next one, it's Dorothy Schmidt. She was married' on CBS television on the Program QBride and Grooml, She and her husband are in Hollywood, California and are re- cording for Capital records, They are quite popular too, You see they are the successors to the late Les Paul and Mary Ford.
