BOBCAT ST FF 5, f A Hey, come on--hand me a pencil! Well, you must hurry or we'll never get this out on time! My head hurts! These are famil iar words to every member of this high-powered staff. Work on this 1957 BOBCAT started in the spring of 1956, when the staff compiled the attractive Typical Day in the Life of a Ran- dolph Student section. Layouts were made . . . and remade. Copy was written . . . discarded . . . rewritten. Pictures were taken . . . and retaken. The staff worked, toiled and sweated, only to find things must be done over more carefully. That's what drove them to distraction . . . almost . . . but then they dove in all the harder and really loved every minute of it. Yes, kids, at times it was doubtful whether there'd ever be a well-organized book between these lids, but here it is--bigger and better than ever before, We like it! Do you?

These are some of the many complaints of the students which the Council members discuss with the faculty, Remember our beautiful Homecoming? That was the work of the Student Council. Remember when you scurried around to get your locker cleaned before one of the members of the Council came around to inspect it? This, too, was a big project of the Student Council. The proceeds of the pro- jects they sponsored bought a punch bowl which is to be used by the entire school. Yes, the Student Council is a very vital part of the oper- ation of our high school, because through it the teacher and the student can obtain a better understanding of one another.
