Z Q sophomore class officers Left to right: Brenda Hosbrook, Vice Presidentg Roger Wise, President, Carol Weber, Secretaryg Terry Evans, Treasurer. We were the largest freshman class ever to enter Randolph, and poor, unsuspecting Mr. Adkins and Mrs. Stratis were given the task of controlling this energetic crowd. Annabelle Gibson was elected president. Other officers were Terry Krug, vice president Sharon Burns, secretaryg and Roger Wise, treasurer. Throughout the year we sponsored a skating party, a bake sale, and our first class dance, The Shamrock Shuffle. Our sophomore year was highlighted with our second big dance, The Starlight Whirl. Mr. Adkins was again given the responsibility of being in charge of our class, and he was assisted by Mr. Egan. This was the year when we struggled through plane geometry, biology, and world history - what a time we had. And some of the boys in our class made the football and basketball teams, and two of our girls were elected cheerleaders. We were reallycproud of all of them - and we did our share of cheering too! Yes, it's been a wonderful year for us Sophs, but next year will be even better, we know, so watch for the CLASS OF '57 l.
